What is the name of your band?
Accubist.

Where are you from?
Essex Ontario, Canada.

When did the band form?
Last Year (2009).

How did the band come together?
We are all huge grind heads and we figured it would be smart to make our own band.

Where is the name from?
We like cubism. (The art style of Pablo Picasso)

What music have you released so far and on what formats?
We have mp3s on the MySpace and some demo stuff.

Which do you prefer and why: Cassette, Vinyl, CD, or MP3?
I gotta rock the vinyl. 😀 Everything sounds better with pops and cracks.

Do you have any new recordings in the works?
We do! We’ve been writing like crazy and have some awesome stuff coming soon to be recorded.

Have you play many shows (tour, shows with larger bands)?
We’ve all been in previous bands with lots of shows. Opening and touring with bigger bands.

What were some of the bands that you were in before? And what happened to them?
Valkyries Epiphany and WINDOW, drama and bullshit fucked them up.

What are you favorite bands?
We really have a variety of shit, everything from jazz to brutal grindcore.

What are your biggest influences?
Psyopus, Genghis Tron, shit like that.

Is there a big Canadian grind scene?
Not so much really. You get a lot of deathcore/hardcore stuff coming from the area, but it’s pretty much generic breakdown shit; so… not all that great.

What do you find offensive or obscene?
Salt.

What’s so offensive about salt?
What ISN’T offensive about it!? >:0

What is your favorite porno?
2 girls 1 cup.

Did you ever see the video of Kermit the Frog watching this?
We actually walked in on him one night jacking off to it. God, the memory will burn with us forever.

Tory Lane.

What’s so special about Tory Lane?
Ohhh man. Everything. She’s super hot and she is a FREAKK.

It’s a possibility.

No but chances are a music video will come with bondage 😉

No, unfortunately not.

VENOM!

Venom is very bad ass! What did you think of the live action Spiderman III Venom vs. the comic book Venom?
Holy shit, they made that!?

Is Venom more bad ass than Carnage?
That’s a very good question. They both have awesome qualities, but when it really comes down to it I think venom definitely wins.

What do your parents think of your band?
They don’t really give a fuck.

What do you spend the most time doing online?
Music stuff & Programming.

What programs and equipment do you use?
Ohhhh man. Okay. Uhmm… Mixcraft, Beatcraft, Audacity, Fruity Loops, ACID 4. It changes a lot to get the perfect sound.

Elvis or the Beatles?
Beatles.

Are you actually fans of the Beatles, or do you just really dislike Elvis?
Elvis is pretty lame. I think it’s hilarious how he died. 😀 A song will be written about that in time. Toilet Death would be the title perhaps.

Politics or Sports?
Sports

Yeah, it seems people are usually into one or the other. So what sports do you like?
I guess hockey. It is definitely the sport of our area. Everybody goes crazy for it.

Satan

Metals gotta suck in some cases right?

That’s a little better. Still not that great though. haha

Why should people listen to your band?
Because life is only so long, you gotta freak out and throw down as hard as you fucking can and have an awesome time doing it. Plus we have good albums for anorexic bitches to throw up to in the washroom, or 7-11 at two in the morning. Whatever.
